Meet Linnca

Hey there! I’m Linnca Stevens, a passionate creative  with a love for all things sewing and fiber! Throughout my career, I’ve immersed myself in the vibrant world of stitching, from designing, to teaching to mentoring.

I found my passion for the sewing and quilting industry early in my career working for the Singer Sewing Machine Co, So-Fro Fabrics and Hancock Fabrics raising through the ranks to become an award-winning multi-unit District Manager.  I co-founded The Sewing Labs, a nonprofit in Kansas City, empowering underserved individuals through vocational sewing training and apprenticeships.  And I continue to contribute designs either under my independent label or as a contributor.

Cloth Continued continues to be my personal venture including longarm quilting  & indie project design  services,  workshops,   mentoring for sewing businesses and a trader of vintage sewing collectables.   I believe that sewing is a skill that should be honored  and passed onto the next generation to  build  self-confidence and bring us to community.

Currently, I serve on the Board of the Kansas City Regional Quilt Festival,  bringing together the hearts & hands of  the quilt guild community in Kansas City and the surrounding  region in a festival that showcases hundreds of quilts, educational classes and a marketplace.  This community  celebrates and supports stitchers.

On a personal note, I’m  proud to be the wife of American farmer, and a devoted mom and grandma to my amazing family in Missouri. They continued to be my joy as I am content with love of family and the simple pleasures of farm life!

“Quilting isn’t just a hobby for me – it’s my religion.”

“I’d be honored to provide my stitching talent to your quilt. Your quilt is a labor
of love, and I will do my best to craft a cherished heirloom for any home”
